Description
Dr. Jeffrey S. Staron is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine from the Detroit Medical Center. During his fellowship, he served as assistant team physician for the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons. A University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign bioengineering graduate, he earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University and completed his orthopedic residency in Indiana. Dr. Staron treats acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, with a special focus on athletes of all ages. He previously provided care for the Gary SouthShore RailCats and Lake Central High School.
